Policies and Procedures
Entrance Criteria:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be a high school graduate or have an equivalent certification.

School Approval and Information: CEMSORE is approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC), School Code #8081 (renewal through 12-31-2028), to offer GREC-approved courses, including salesperson pre-license, broker pre-license, CAM pre-license, post-license, and continuing education classes. Instructors: Gregory Lamar McCord, the CEMSORE School Director, is approved by GREC to teach all courses. Additional instructors are GREC-approved to ensure top-quality instruction.
Recruitment Policy: Recruitment for employment at any real estate brokerage firm is strictly prohibited during class or on school grounds. If you experience any recruitment efforts, report them immediately to Gregory Lamar McCord at (404) 662-3352 or the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC).

Changes to Courses: Course dates, locations, policies, and fees are subject to change without prior notice.
Attendance Policy:
In-Class: Mobile devices must be turned off upon entering. Students must sign in for each session—failure to do so results in an official absence. Signing in for others is not allowed.
Virtual (Zoom): Zoom tracks your login/logout times. Students must attend on time and remain for the entire session to receive credit. Missing more than 10 hours without prior arrangements will result in being dropped from the course, requiring a retake fee of $325.
Refund Policy:
- Withdrawals before the first class session: Refund less $50 administrative fee ($145 if the course book was received).
- Withdrawals after the first session but before the second: Refund less $145 for attendance, materials, and admin fees.
- No refunds after attending the second session.
Class Cancellations: CEMSORE reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to insufficient enrollment or unsafe conditions (e.g., weather). Students will be notified via email, and makeup dates will be announced. If CEMSORE cancels a course, students will receive a full refund.
School Records: CEMSORE maintains student records for at least five years, including name, address, real estate license number, enrollment date, course title, attendance, and exam scores.
Continuing Education: All 3-hour and 6-hour continuing education courses are non-refundable and non-transferable. You cannot receive credit for repeating the same course within 12 months.
Transfers: To transfer to a different pre-license class, contact the School Director. A transfer fee of $100 may apply.
Classroom Preparation: Complete all required readings, quizzes, and worksheets before class. A syllabus will be provided on the first day outlining assignments. Satisfactory completion of homework is required before the final exam.
Final Exam: The final exam, as required by GREC, consists of 152 multiple-choice questions and must be completed within 4 hours. To be eligible, students must:
- Pay their full course fee.
- Attend at least 75 hours of class.
- Achieve a passing score of 72%.
Retake Exam: If a student fails, they have two months from the course end date to retake the exam. After two attempts, GREC requires retaking the entire course. A reduced retake fee of $325 applies if retaken within one year.
Course Completion: To receive credit for completing the course, students must:
- Complete all homework.
- Attend a minimum of 75 hours of class.
- Pass the final exam with a score of 72%.
Certification: Upon passing the final exam, CEMSORE will submit your course completion electronically to GREC within two business days. Once GREC processes your completion, PSI/AMP will email instructions for scheduling the state exam. We recommend scheduling the state exam as soon as possible.
Classroom Etiquette: Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Instructors have the authority to remove disruptive students, who will not be entitled to a refund.
Weapons Policy: CEMSORE prohibits weapons of any kind, including firearms and knives, on the premises, regardless of licensing.
Miscellaneous:
- Students are not permitted to record videos or take photos of class sessions or materials without permission.
- Drinks and snacks are allowed at the instructor’s discretion. Please clean up after yourself.
